The Associated Press Faux Victim Narrative Being Promoted By Progressive Sheeple

I have had about all of the brazen double standard crap from the political left that I can take. The transparently brazen and completely absurd double standards these people are wielding are a genuine cancer to our society and culture, it’s rotting the morals and ethics of United States from the inside out.

These people afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) are getting completely out of control. It doesn’t matter what President Trump does or promotes the political left opposes it, misrepresents it, and demonizes it. These people will flush all their morals, ethics, critical thinking and general common sense to oppose Trump; that’s what a psychological obsession looks like and it’s not healthy. This is the exact same tactic that the political left used in Trump’s first Presidency and it has shown “We the People” that the political left will literally be openly anti-American and anti-Constitution as long as it opposes Trump; this tactic is morally bankrupt.

In today’s episode of double standard lunacy from the political left, we have this installment from the self proclaimed moderate liberal Dave Cieslewicz and his blog Yellow Stripes & Dead Armadillos. Cieslewicz has had random moments of moderation but this particular low hanging fruit blog post titled “Support the Associated Press” is certainly not one of them.

Cieslewicz starts off by propping up the Associated Press (AP) historically, as if that makes any difference to what they’re doing now, by telling us that “the AP is an incredibly powerful thing. It has reporters in over 230 locations around the world and in 93 countries. It has reporters in all 50 states and in every statehouse.” This is the equivalent to a King’s Pass rationalization, #11 on this list. The AP has been and is currently intentionally lying and it’s 100% clear that they’re doing it for political purposes. Cieslewicz goes on to declare in a blanket statement that “the AP practices objective journalism” when there is years and years of glaring evidence showing that the AP is an anti-Trump propaganda machine, political hack news outlet, for the progressive left. It appears to me that the meaning of Cieslewicz’s phrase “objective journalism” is something that’s closely related to being an outspoken Trump hater.

You can disagree with the changing of the name if you like, but the Gulf of America is what it’s now called, accept that fact, stop lying, and move on.

When arguing that the AP is some kind of victim, Cieslewicz shows us his progressive and TDS bona fides up front when he wrote this, “The AP has now achieved another level of respect: it has come under attack from the convicted felon Donald Trump. (The YSDA Style Guide calls for Trump’s name to always be preceded by “the convicted felon” at first mention.)”. Just gotta love how Cieslewicz shows off his deep down character traits and how they’re now driven by TDS when it comes to anything related to President Trump. So in Cieslewicz’s TDS afflicted mind it appears to me that the AP garners additional respect for literally lying. Sure Dave, whatever helps you sleep at night but you’re really not understanding what real journalism is and you might want to objectively check why you think the AP deserves another level of respect because of this ridiculous anti-Trump narrative.

“The AP has been banished from Trump’s press entourage for the crime of not using “Gulf of America” when writing about the Gulf of Mexico” when everyone else with a functioning brain, journalism integrity, and a lick of common sense has already accepted the fact that it’s now called the “Gulf of America” and moved on. The AP is intentionally lying about the name, they made their choice, and the consequences for their intentional lies are theirs. Now the AP is misrepresenting reality with their faux victimization narrative which is another typical progressive bull shit tactic. The AP has no right whatsoever to be included in Trump’s press entourage, period. The AP hasn’t been stripped of their press credentials and is still allowed to continue their presence in the White House briefing room, the AP doesn’t have a leg of justification for any victimization or free speech claims regarding this change.

That’s enough on that, now here’s my opinion about changing the name of the gulf.
