Post 2024 Presidential Election Analysis From The Landfill

The purpose of the Society’s Building Blocks – Social Commentary Blog is “critically thinking about things that change our society”. What happened on Tuesday November 5, 2024 is very clear evidence to me that the vast majority of the political center reengaged their critical thinking and logic and kicked as many of the extreme anti-Constitution, anti-American Democrats as they possibly could to the curb to wallow in the muck.

The Democratic Party allowed the extreme political left to create an anti-Constitution and anti-American societal, cultural and political mess and We the People are so damned fed up with their nonsense that we chose to vote for an unethical, loose cannon mouthed, asshole narcissist that happens to be pro-Constitution to turn the tides and drag the political pendulum back from the brink. The Democrats pushed too hard.

This election was an in-your-face reversal of the movement that began sixteen years ago. In 2008, Presidential Candidate Barack Obama’s 2008 speech issued a call to action for the progressive left wing of the Democratic Party with his, “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” The political left pushed and pushed their ideas of “change” until the political pendulum was teetering on the brink of causing a disaster for our society and culture. The political left wanted to figuratively push the political pendulum over the edge of reality so it could never swing back towards the center. The people of the United States of America have now openly rejected their delusional nonsense in a very public way.

In my opinion, the garbage district has spoken and the message to the Democratic Party was this…

“The garbage district of political centrists has dragged the political pendulum back to the center, and if you continue to be extremists then you will become irrelevant.”

But they completely forgot that when We the People get backed into a corner,
we come out snarling.

The word from the landfill is, your leftist extremism is breathing it’s last breath. Good riddance!

All that said, now we have to deal with the other elephant in the room.

The Republicans will have the White House, they will have the majority in the Senate, and it appears that the Republicans still have a chance to have the majority in the House; plus, the Supreme Court already leans Conservative.

What does this mean for the Republicans, it means that they could ram through whatever bills they want as long as they are Constitutional. The Republicans MUST remember that absolute power corrupts absolutely and We the People are aware and we’re watching how they govern. If they don’t govern more moderately and don’t push legislation that appears to be extreme to the back burners then We the People will likely kick them to the curb in upcoming elections. Very pointedly; Republicans better stay away from the abortion issue at the federal level and let We the People in the states make these decisions or they will destroy any good will they could have enjoyed.

We have given the Republicans a chance to correct the swing of the political pendulum, they better take heed! Republicans need to govern as moderates or the fangs of We the People will turn around and bite a great big chunk out of them too!

Both Republicans and Democrats need to walk away from their extremists tactics and return to being the adults in the room and do what’s right for the American people. I will accept nothing less!
