“Donald Trump [doesn’t even respect the office enough to call him “President Trump”] attempted to steamroll the Senate to put in place his historically unqualified nominees, but Senate Democrats wouldn’t let ’em”
Then Sen. Schumer says the Democrats want to find a…
“reasonable path to allow bipartisan Senate consideration”
But only if…
“the White House and Senate Republicans met [their] demands”
That’s pure unadulterated extortion!
Logic and morality dictates that if Democrats really thought that the nominees were “historically unqualified” enough to completely block Senate consideration right now then they wouldn’t want any kind of Senate consideration for them later so why extort Republicans; however, if they think they are qualified enough to extort Republicans so they can “allow bipartisan Senate consideration” later, then Sen. Schumer stood right there in front of the American people and openly LIED about their qualifications.
It doesn’t matter how Sen. Schumer tries to spin this, one way or the other he openly lied and he and his fellow Democrats are openly trying to extort the Republicans. What Sen. Schumer and the Democrats are doing is morally bankrupt and it’s morally bankrupt to try and justify this unethical and immoral narrative that Sen. Schumer is trying to present.
