Morally Bankrupt Progressives

The purpose of the Society’s Building Blocks blog is “Critically Thinking About Things That Change Society” and it’s been a rather depressing task in the 21st century to witness all the absurdities coming to the forefront of our society that are destroying our culture and the core foundations of our country.

This is another blog post where I pick on the low-hanging fruit from an extreme progressive. In today’s installment I’ll be discussing a blog post from a Madison, Wisconsin area blogger, Gregory A. Humphrey, titled “Dane County Values Vs. Donald Trump’s Foghorn Of Racism“. It’s another piece of evidence showing me that our society, culture and the core foundations of our country are being undermined by morally bankrupt propaganda narratives that gullible sheeple swallow as if it’s all fact.

The theme of Humphrey’s Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) propaganda diatribe is unmistakable; Donald Trump is evil and as evidence to support Humphrey’s TDS driven biased opinion he presents the following statements and a nice graphic…  

“Donald Trump’s Foghorn Of Racism”

“In the days leading up to Donald Trump’s appearance in Dane County some of the vilest racism was offered at a Prairie du Chien rally on Saturday”

“far more accurately depicting the rancid racism that was offered as political campaigning”

“…the stoking of resentments of white voters along with pure racism in 2016”

“the dark and sinister racism of Donald Trump”

It seems to me that there must have been oodles of vile racist statements rolling out of “Trump’s foghorn of racism” at the Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin rally on Saturday, but yet Humphrey couldn’t, or wouldn’t, provide any of these racist direct quotes from Trump to support the racism narrative he’s presenting – NOT EVEN ONE! Seriously, why wouldn’t a blogger with a shred of integrity not spend a moment of their time to present some kind of evidence to support their narrative? Is the author just being one of those good progressive attack dogs that drools out the extreme left’s approved narrative as if it’s self-evident without any regard for truth or facts? What happened to Humphrey’s integrity, was it completely swallowed up by his TDS?

The old adage comes to mind, “you’re welcome to your own opinion but not your own facts”.

As many people already know, I’m an Independent, I don’t like Trump one bit, and I’ve never supported him but I can say without one bit of hesitation that the kind of unsupported TDS propaganda presented by Humphrey is immoral. Simply claiming racism where racism has not been shown to actually exist, like Humphrey did in this blog post, is morally bankrupt. Either Humphrey supports his claims with some kind of verifiable facts or he will be justifiably tarred as an immoral political hack.

Furthermore…

Humphrey also wrote, “Throughout the local conversations this fall, there will be no hate-filled rhetoric about racism, calling of names, or denigrating populations in need.”

Really?

Maybe Humphrey resides in a different Dane County, Wisconsin than I do.

I’ve been living in Dane County Wisconsin since January of 1977. Since early in the 21st century I’ve noticed a pattern of rhetoric around this Dane County bubble that’s surrounded by reality. I’ve been hearing Dane County extreme progressives calling anyone they disagree with all sorts of hate-filled things and Humphrey engages in that kind of rhetoric too, all you have to do read Humphrey’s blog and you’ll come across some great examples of some of the Dane County hate-filled rhetoric. The extreme progressives in the Dane County that I live in have been, and are, denigrating white people, police, free speech, 2nd Amendment, the Constitution, SCOTUS, Evangelicals, Republican Party, MAGA voters, and anyone that opposes the progressives political slow walk towards Orwellian styled totalitarianism. There are some Dane County progressive activists that publicly professed that “all whites are racists”, which is actually a bigoted racist statement. The pattern from Dane County extreme progressives is clear to me. As extreme as some of the progressives are in Dane County, it’s as if they are saying the quite part of their movement aloud…

Humphrey says “there will be no hate-filled rhetoric about racism, calling of names, or denigrating populations” in Dane County and based on what I’ve personally seen and heard in Dane County and Humphrey’s own words on his blog, I think Humphrey is a willful liar. Humphrey’s pattern is very clear to me; Humphrey appears to be hypocritically justifying and white-washing all the hate-filled rhetoric from Dane County progressives and demonizing all the rhetoric from the political right. Extreme progressives exhibiting this kind of open hypocrisy are morally bankrupt.

Critically thinking people that aren’t hypocritical biased bigots spreading propaganda narratives that they cannot or will not support can, as Humphrey wrote in his blog, “clearly see where values exist and where they have been utterly discarded“. It’s very clear to me that progressives have disregarded values in favor of the ends justifies the means.

A few hours after I posted this blog, Humphrey posted this deranged correlation equals causation Trump vs Hitler diatribe titled, Donald Trump’s Own Version Of Kristallnacht Against Immigrants, Comparison To Adolf Hitler Deepens. Trump Derangement Syndrome doesn’t fully describe what’s wrong with Humphrey. With all the tolerance and KumBaYa from the political left, I don’t have a clue why anyone would want to do Trump harm, it’s a mystery.
