How can anyone take these people seriously?

This is an old Zoltar Speaks! blog post.

The rhetorical coward blogger dekerivers over at Caffeinated Politics wrote in a recent blog titled Mass Shooting In America (Again)–Must Be A Wednesday,

“How does a wall lower violent crime again? Let me be most clear.  White pseudo-christian males with semi-automatic penis enhancers kill more Americans than any brown immigrants ever did.”

dekerivers also wrote a statement that appears to call all gun owners demented,

“how people who stockpile guns and ammunition–at times in the amount of tens of thousands of dollars–use credit cards to make their demented plans a reality. “

How are we the people of the United States of America supposed to take arguments presented by anti-gun people like dekerivers seriously when they write these kind of intentionally insulting unethical smears? It’s all emotional bull shit.

It seems to me that when progressives run out of rational arguments to support their opinions they always resort to personally attacking those they disagree with.

NOTE: I used the phrase rhetorical coward above because when the blogger dekerivers was directly challenged about some of the things he wrote on a couple of his blogs posts he intentionally shut down the ability for commenters to challenge his rhetoric calling those that disagreed with him trolls, in my opinion that makes him a rhetorical coward. I’m sure he’ll enjoy his ideological bubble a lot more now that he’s prevented intrusions in his echo chamber.
